GAA President Helps Raise Green Flag at Dromakeenan NS

On Monday last Liam O Neill, President of the GAA arrived in Scoil Chronain Naofa, Dromakeenan, Roscrea to raise their 4th Green Flag.

On Monday last Liam O Neill, President of the GAA arrived in Scoil Chronain Naofa, Dromakeenan, Roscrea to raise their 4th Green Flag.

Principal Mr Brendan Hanamy opened proceedings by welcoming all who had gathered to celebrate this great achievement. In his speech Mr Hanamy thanked in particular Green School Co-ordinator Mrs Siobhan Maher, and Caretaker Tommy Carroll saying without them the school would not be the beautiful place it is today. Three members of the Green School committee told how each of the preceding Green Flags was achieved.
