The Celtic Marketplace Trade Show is organised and hosted by the North American Celtic Trade Association (NACTA), the trade association for the Celtic Market in North America and will take place in Lombard, Chicago from Sunday 22nd to Tuesday 23th September 2013.
NACTAs membership represents retailers, vendors, manufacturers, distributors and others involved in this niche market including storefront retailers who sell predominantly Celtic products. The Tipperary North County Enterprise Board in conjunction with Fingal, Dublin City and other Enterprise Boards is considering part funding a small number of exhibitors at this show www.celticshow.com and is now seeking expressions of interest from Tipperary based craft makers, artisan food producers, hamper companies etc. The scheme offered by the Tipperary North County Enterprise Board will be similar to the Ireland Show as set out below:-
Clients are responsible for booking their own flights & accommodation and shipping of their product. TNCEB will offer grant assistance towards these costs at the following rates:
1st or 2nd time exhibiting with the TNCEB in past 2yrs – 50% of costs to maximum grant of €1,000
3rd + time exhibiting with the TNCEB in past 2yrs – 50% of costs to maximum grant of €600
This grant is payable on return from the event based on submission of valid receipts. Participation is subject to payment of a €200 non-refundable booking fee soonest.
