Wexford woman Catherine Breen, developed healthdirectory.ie because while practicing as a therapist herself found the public were finding it difficult to find contact details for their local therapist. So, after great research and work to develop this website, Catherine feels Health Directory.ie will give users up to date information about professionals and health related services in their locality.

“The concept is quite simple. I wanted users to make an informed decision when it comes to their health issues. Health Directory.ie is an easy to navigate site containing contact and web site details about a host of conventional and complementary practitioners, such as dentists, help lines, physiotherapists, chiropodists, nutritionists, children’s health professionals and so much more, log-on to view the full list of therapy’s and health related services. Each county features a selection of professionals so it makes it easier for the user to find out about who is practicing in their locality and what therapy they are qualified in etc.

In order to offer a comprehensive site we have made the registration process for practitioners very straight forward and in fact it only takes a few minutes to register all their information on line.

All qualified practitioners are welcome to join for a very reasonable fee with lots of advantages.

The initiative has received grant aid from Local Enterprise and Development Organizations who were very helpful and supportive while the business was being launched .“These are the kind of projects that both boards are willing to support and encourage as the potential for growth and expansion and the subsequent opportunity to create local employment is paramount to our economic recovery.”
