Manchán Magan set to open Cashel Arts Festival

Television presenter and travel journalist Manchán Magan will officially open the Cashel Arts Festival 2016 at 7.45pm at the Rock of Cashel on Thursday, September 15th - this event is kindly sponsored by Cashel Irish Farmhouse Cheesemakers.

Manchán Magan is an Irish-speaking writer and documentary-maker who has written books on his travels in Africa, India and South America and two novels. He writes occasionally for the Irish Times, reports weekly on travel for The Right Hook and has presented dozens of documentaries on issues of world culture for TG4, RTÉ & the Travel Channel.

The Cashel Arts Festival is a four-day event which takes place from Thursday, September 15th to Sunday, September 18th. And, the Cashel Arts Festival committee is delighted to confirm Ralph McTell as the headline act for this year’s festival. One of the great storytellers Ralph McTell is now celebrating almost fifty years on the road and is known for his virtuoso guitar style.
