Marlon Brando documentary features at The Source

The Source Film Club will present a screening of 'Listen to Me Marlon' in The Source Arts Centre in Thurles on Wednesday, March 30th at 8pm.

A compelling profile of actor Marlon Brando is captured in 'Listen to Me Marlon', a fascinating and insightful documentary narrated by the man himself based on audio recordings he made at home, in business meetings and therapy sessions which reveal his deepest thoughts and musings about life and the art of film.

Hailed as one of the greatest actors of all time and remembered in particular for classics such as ‘On the Waterfront’, ‘The Godfather’ and ‘Apocalypse Now’, Brando’s private life was every bit as fascinating as his on-screen one.

Through the use of archival footage and press interviews along with Brando’s own audio recordings filmmaker Stevan Riley has crafted a film which paints the most intimate portrait yet of a man who was not only a talented artist, but also a deeply introspective and often conflicted personality.

The Source Film Club will present a screening of 'Listen to Me Marlon' in The Source Arts Centre in Thurles on Wednesday, March 30th at 8pm.

Tickets are priced at €9 (€7 with concession and €5 for Film Club Members).
