The Munster Council made the draw for the respective provincial under-20 football, under-21 hurling and minor hurling championships on Wednesday night.
In the 2018 Bord Gáis Energy Munster Under-21 Hurling Championship Tipperary have been drawn in the semi-finals against the winner of the quarter-final clash between Clare and Limerick - the semi-final is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 21st at Semple Stadium, Thurles while Clare and Limerick meet on May 9th. On the other side of the draw Waterford and Cork will contest their respective semi-final while the provincial final is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 4th.
In the 2018 EirGrid Munster Under-20 Football Championship the Premier County have been drawn against Cork in the quarter-finals. The winner of that contest will take on Clare in the semi-finals while Waterford await the winner of the clash between Limerick and Kerry on the other side of the draw. The dates for the respective games in this competition will be released at a later date.
The 2018 Electric Ireland Munster Minor Hurling Minor Championship will be run off as a round-robin competition using the same schedule as the Munster Senior Hurling Championship round-robin. Therefore Tipperary will play Limerick (away) on Sunday, May 20th, Cork at home on Sunday, May 27th, Waterford away on Sunday, June 3rd and Clare at home on Sunday, June 10th. The 2018 Munster minor hurling final will precede its senior equivalent on Sunday, July 1st.
The draw for the 2018 Electric Ireland Munster Minor Football Championship has been deferred subject to agreement on the format for the competition. The minor football final, of course, will precede the senior provincial decider on Saturday, June 23rd.
