Munster-Ulster inter-provincial hurling semi-final switched to Thurles on Sunday

Brendan Maher, Séamus Callanan and Noel McGrath are set to feature for Munster this weekend.

The inter-provincial hurling semi-final between Munster and Ulster will now take place on Sunday, December 11th in Semple Stadium, Thurles (1.45pm). The game was initially fixed for MacDonagh Par, Nenagh on Saturday, but has been switched due to the funeral of former Ulster GAA provincial secretary Danny Murphy on Saturday.

The second inter-provincial hurling semi-final between Leinster and Connacht goes ahead at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh on Saturday, December 10th (2.45pm).

The Ulster v Munster inter-provincial football semi-final will now take place on Sunday, December 11th in Parnell Park (2pm).

The Central Competitions Control Committee will meet on Sunday evening to determine the dates and times for the inter-provincial finals.

Tipperary's James Barry, Michael Breen, Séamus Callanan, Darren Gleeson, Brendan Maher (captain), Pádraic Maher, Dan McCormack, Noel McGrath and John O’Dwyer all feature on the Munster inter-provincial panel. The side will be managed by Anthony Daly (Clare, manager), Tommy Dunne (Tipperary) and John Mullane (Waterford).

Meanwhile Tipperary's Alan Campbell, Evan Comerford, Brian Fox, Michael Quinlivan and Conor Sweeney feature on the inter-provincial football panel managed by Ger O’Sullivan (Cork, manager), Declan Browne (Tipperary) and Dave Geaney (Kerry).
