St Mary's Clonmel put back to back county minor A hurling titles with a fine win over fancied JK Brackens this afternoon in Semple Stadium.

Though they trailed by a point at the interval 1-4 to 0-6, St Mary's had two second half goals from Sean Kennedy and Niall Hoctor to seal a famous win for them - Brackens also had a Denis Russell goal in the 17th minute of the half but, they just could not reel in the south men.

Sean Kennedy, brother of Tipp senior star Seamus, was the hero of the hour for St Mary's while Gavin Ryan also put in a major shift for them.
