Tipp to tackle Kilkenny in Gortnahoe tournament

Tipperary's u-21 hurlers will take on Kilkenny in Gortnahoe on Bank Monday evening next in the annual Tom O'Hara Tournament 6:30pm, it has been confirmed today.

The tournament in memory of the late Secretary of the Mid Tipperary GAA Board, has been running for two decades now and is a real chance for the u-21 managements on both sides to see what their charges are made of.

Tipp Boss William Maker (Ballingarry) expects to have a strong squad to choose from while his Kilkenny counterpart Eddie Brennan will not want The Premier County to score an early season victory over his men.
