Disappointment was the over-riding emotion coming from the Tipp camp after Sunday's defeat to Clare in the Allianz NHL quarter final tie at Cusack Park, Ennis.
When one considers that the side hit almost as many wides as scores - some of them very scorable, it was only natural that Manager Michael Ryan would end up fielding questions about the erraticism.
“It's very disappointing for us. We really wanted to progress in this League. We created a lot of chances today but we didn't capitalise on them. Although we certainly created the chances, we didn’t execute them very well. We could have done with raising a green flag. That would have given us a further impetus. We had to work really hard to get into that lead coming down the straight.
