We had a large crowd for the for our Trail run on Saturday morning on the Ballyhouras. 66 brave runners turned up on a morning which had no promise in it.
We met at the Mountain Bike centre and had the luxury of a roof over our heads as we registered everyone.
Thanks to An Bru AC for all the help and all the support. Everyone enjoyed the route which was short with a lot of variety and twists and turns in it. People commented that it was a real adventure with short sharp climbs on single track, loads of fire road sections and zig,zag down hill trails, a lot of people did a second loop. I don’t think that anyone stopped to do the obstacles on the trim trail. It was a great surprise when I showed people the Nature trail and showed them how to find the hidden animals. There was plenty of Water fruit and biscuits for all at the finish, and there was great banter in the group as all the smiling faces headed home after.
