Tipp footballers stick to their guns and refuse to attend
Munster Council gig
The Tipperary senior footballers have stuck to their guns and have refused to turn up to any Munster Council sponsored event including Monday’s launch of the hurling and football senior championships.
The on-going dispute which has arisen following the seeding of Cork and Kerry in the provincial football senior championship saw Tipperary withdrawing from the McGrath Cup, refusing to supply players to the Railway Cup squad, and not co-operating with any promotional activities organised by the council.
