Tipperary club St. Michael’s FC will find out their opponents in the Quarter Final of the FAI Junior Cup, with Aviva and Umbro, on Monday the 10th March.

The draw for the Quarter Finals will take place at the Aviva Stadium and representatives from St. Michael’s FC will be in attendance to see who they will face as they hope to move a step closer to the Aviva Stadium Final in May.

The Final of the FAI Junior Cup will be held in the Aviva Stadium on the 25th May, before the Senior International friendly between Ireland and Turkey. This will be the second year that the FAI Junior Cup Final will be held at the Stadium. Last year 6,000 fans saw Sheriff YC from Dublin defeat their local rivals Kilbarrack FC in the Final, which took place ahead of the Ireland against Georgia International friendly last June.

The Quarter Final draw will be attended by representatives of the 8 remaining clubs in the competition; Sheriff YC (Dublin), Liffey Wanderers (Dublin), Collinstown FC (Dublin), St. Michaels FC (Tipperary), NUI Galway (Galway), Geraldines FC (Limerick), Ballynanty Rovers (Limerick) and Carew Park FC (Limerick).

The draw will be made by Aviva FAI Junior Cup Ambassador Ray Houghton and Aviva Soccer Reporter Alan Cawley as well as former Michael’s player and FAI CEO John Delaney
