Tipp Down Rebels to Reach Final
Tipperary 1-10
Cork 0-9
Tipperary minor football Manager David Power described The Premier County’s victory over Cork in the Munster semi-final in Pairc Ui Chaoimh as being “the most significant” for his charges as they powered their way through the decider for the fourth time in five years with a very confident display.
Crucially though, he added that there is still plenty of room for improvement and would not have been overjoyed at the performance, despite the result.
The Kilsheelan/Kilcash man has now seen his men travel to Kerry in the first round and Cork in the semi-final, and on both occasions emerge with a win – a huge change of fortune for Tipperary football and an indication of where the code is going in the county.
