Ladies Football- On Sunday 12th December we held our Juvenile Christmas Party in the clubhouse. The party got off to a great start with the arrival of Santa. He gave every child a goodie bag and posed for lots of photos. Following this some of our local talents took to the stage to sing The Premier Rap. They received rapturous applause and got a big surprises when Johnnie B singer and writer of the song came up on stage and they all sang together. Johnnie B’s cd is available to buy in the club. All proceeds go to The Chernobyl Fund.

After this we had our medal presentation. Conor O Brien (senior hurler) and Michael O Dwyer (u21 footballer) did the honours. The U/12A boys football team, accompanied by 4 girls received their Shield Medals. Mount Bruis U11 were successful in Roinn A of the schools competition. The U13s, U14s and U15 hurlers also received their medals. Congratulations to Kevin Franks who managed all 3 teams. The Minor Girls also collected their Shield Medals. Next to receive a presentation was Thomas O Donoghue. This was in recognition for his achievments at playing wing back for a very successful County U16 Tipperary Team. Well known clubman Gerry Maguire also received an award.

The last event of the evening was the raffle in which there was lots of lucky winners. Thanks to everyone who made the party a huge success.
