Tipperary’s first Munster championship win in senior football in eleven years was greeted with as much a feeling of relief as achievement in Pairc na nGael on Saturday evening.

Tipperary’s first Munster championship win in senior football in eleven years was greeted with as much a feeling of relief as achievement in Pairc na nGael on Saturday evening.

A big monkey off the back, the win represented a see-change in footballing fortunes - league success including promotion and silverware is one thing, but achieving something in the provincial championship is something entirely different.
