Tipp junior footballers bow out at first hurdle

Tipperary bowed out of the Munster junior football championship at Pairc na nGael, Limerick on Saturday evening when they came up against a superior Shannonside outfit.

Despite the fact that Tipp had a decent side in this championship, they failed to get to the required level and were playing catch-up for most of the game - a real disappointment considering the credentials of the side.
