Fresh from their comprehensive victory over Limerick Institute of Technology in Nenagh last weekend, the Tipperary senior hurlers are on the road next Sunday when they head to meet Kerry in the Waterford Crystal Cup in Tralee.

The Eamon Kelly (Kildangan) trained Kingdom lads will welcome Tipp warmly, but will hope to learn much from the experience of locking horns with a top flight side. Brian Horgan (Knockavilla Kickhams) is also in the Kerry set-up while retired Tipp goalkeeper Brendan Cummins is helping out occasionally with netminding coaching.

This game will be another opportunity for fringe players to impress and Manager Eamon O’Shea will be looking for more of the same from his charges when they face down the Kerry boys in their own backyard.

A keen contest is on the cards but Tipp are to win out.
