County Intermediate Team: Tipperary Ladies Football are playing Armagh in the Tesco Homegrown National Football League Division 3 Semi-Final Sunday April 28th in St. Loman’s, Mullingar at 2pm.
County Minor Team - Tipperary 2-6 Limerick 3-5: Tipperary Minors met Limerick in the final round of the Munster Championship in Lattin Cullen on Sunday 21st April. Limerick were the first to register a score with a point in the first two minutes of the game. Tipperary were next to add to the scoreboard with a point scored by Aisling McCarthy from a free taken by Kirsty Downey. Limerick added a further two points to the scoreboard before Jackie O’Gorman scored a goal from a free taken by Kirsty Downey. At the end of the first quarter Tipperary were leading by point. In the nineteenth minute Maeve O’Gorman got the ball and after a lovely solo run down the field passed the ball to Laura Dillon who effortlessly scored a point to put Tipperary two points up.
Niamh O’Brien added another point to this in the twenty fifth minute. Limerick while not having scored from the twelfth minute were not to be kept down and scored two quick goals in the twenty ninth and thirtieth minute to go in at half time three points up. Tipperary 1-3 Limerick 2-3.
Tipperary came out in the second half stronger and within the first ten minutes had scored three points to level the game.
Limerick took back the lead in the forty second minute with a point but Tipperary were still fighting hard and in the forty ninth minute, Sarah Everard scored a goal to give Tipperary back the lead by two points. In the fifty-second minute Niamh McCarthy (Limerick) was shown a yellow card and sin binned. Limerick were unsettled for a few minutes but reduced the arrears to just a single point thanks to a 57th minute pointed free. Tipperary tried their best to hold on but Limerick added a goal moments later to put them in front for good. With time almost up Tipperary’s Aisling McCarthy was to join Niamh McCarthy in the sin bin as she got a yellow card. Limerick maintained their lead for the last minute or so to claim the victory. Limerick 3-5 Tipperary 2-6.

Tipperary Under 16 Championship: Moycarkey Borris defeated Clonmel Commercials in the quarter final of the Under 16 Group B on April 20th in Littleton to earn themselves a place in the semi-final against Cappawhite which will be played on April 24th in Cappawhite at 7pm.
In Templemore Garda Pitch Templemore played Aherlow in the Under 16 Group A semi-final. Winners, Templemore will play the winners of Cahir v Moyle Rovers in the Final on Monday May 6th. In the U16 Group C semi-final Arravale Rovers played Brian Borus in Sean Treacy Park on Sunday April 21st. This game ended in a draw and the replay is to be confirmed.
