Central to the formation of new club
It’s an ill wind that blows nobody some good - so they say anyway.
Well, the winds of fortune have scattered three Thurles lads to Sydney in search of work and Tipperary’s misfortune at having lost them has been Australia’s gain, with Matt Moloney, Barry Delahunt and Richie O’Gorman having been central to the formation of a new rugby club.
Part of the inaugural Sydney Irish RFC team, the Thurles lads are really enjoying the challenge of playing rugby down under having spent many years in the ruck and muck of Thurles RFC where they learned all the tricks of the game.
