Tipperary Manager David Power was “lost for words” in the immediate aftermath of the All-Ireland minor football quarter final tie at Croke Park on Saturday.
The Kilsheelan man has presided over some very special days over the last two years with Tipperary riding the crest of a wave in the code which saw his charges reach the pinnacle of the U-18 football world, against all the odds.
Saturday though, was the day the bottom fell out of the world and down it all came crashing. It was hard to watch from the sidelines with the frustration quite evident – Tipp failed to reach their expected standards and suffered as a result. See this weeks Tipperary Star for full details.
