Running from trap 1 in the first round heat of the TTSC A3A4 stake, the winner showed a good turn of early foot to go clear on the run to the bend and make it eight career wins when crossing the line three lengths clear of Whizzing Spirit in a time of 29.20 with We Was Happy staying another three lengths back in third place.

RACE 1 A6A7 525

This race, heat 1 of the second round of the TTSC stake was won by Declan Kelly’s Rock Hopper who was making it two on the trot and three wins from four starts when clocking 29.66.

Breaking from trap 1, the winner led on the back straight from Bua Frank and maintained his advantage to the line winning by two and half lengths from Leamaneigh Mags another length back in third place.

RACE 2 A6A7 525

The second heat was won by the Maurice Leahy trained Cormac The Count owned by Alan McCormack.

This fellow was headed from traps by Vermont but took it up at the bend and went on to lead from Knockroe Heather on the back straight.

Maintaining a strong gallop to the Line, Cormac clocked 29.54 when holding off the late challenge of Whizzing Zebo by three and half lengths with Knockroe Heather a further length back in third place.

RACE 3 A6A7 525

The third heat was won by TJ Campion’s Mister Big Boss who was making it two wins from two starts when coming through on the line to win.

Here, Shows Jet made the early running and led to the home straight where the winner came through to win by a length in a time of 29.88 from Shows Jet with Ragtag London another length back in third place.

RACE 4 N2A8 525

The Edward McCole trained, Thomas Mansfield owned Murleys Cailin got a flyer from trap 2 and made every post a winning one opening a good lead on the back straight.

From here on the issue was never in doubt and the winner went on to cross the line five lengths clear of Hollands Gold in a time of 29.87 with Flexible Dora another five lengths back in third place. The winner is a July puppy.

RACE 5 A1A2 600

Hather Siobs led down from here and shot clear at the bend, where there was some crowding.

Trained by Sally Williams fro Mr C Henry, the winner was never headed from here and held off the late challenge of Grangebeg Blaze by a length in a time of 33.94 with the well fancied Shes So Vain running on strongly in third place, a further head back.

RACE 6 A5A6 525

This race was won by John Commin’s Solvitas Ruby. After a fairly level break, Astons Prince took it up on the run to the bend.

Here Lyons Castle showed in front and led on the back straight from Astons Prince. At the top bends, the winner slipped through on the rails and went on to score by two lengths from Labyrinth in a time of 30.02 with Astons Prince another two lengths back in third place.

RACE 8 A3A4 525

The second of the TTSC stake was won by the reserve Bellview Bandit owned by Luke Staunton and trained by Eamon Cronin.

From traps, it was Phat Mary who led with Glen Roundy taking it up at the third bend.

At the last bend, the winner came through and went away to win by a length from a strong finishing Rosmult Shaw with Phat Mary another three quarters back in third place.

RACE 9 D1 840

The Derek Kehoe owned and trained Slaneyside Aine was on the mark in the D1 840.

This one has been crying out for a longer distance for some time and came good when clocking 48.05.

From traps it was Airforce Biddy who led with the winner taking it up passing the stands the first time.

Leading on the back straight from Confey Causeway, the winner ran on gamely and had three lengths to spare over Confey with Lingstown Rocket another six and half lengths back in third place.

RACE 10 A3A4 525

This race, the third heat of the TTSC was won by Gil Liddle’s Doonane’s Banjo.

Showing a good turn of early foot, the winner was always in command and went away to win by two lengths from Boherna Scolari who was always second in a time of 29.65 with Flomur Antics another two lengths back in third place.

RACE 11 A3A4 525

The fourth heat of the TTSC stake was won by the MJJ Syndicate owned, Hes A Hurricane.

From traps it was Man to Poznan who led with the winner taking it up on the back straight and going right away to win by five and half lengths from Glideaway Con in a time of 29.42 with Direct Link another half length back in third place. The winner was making it two career wins.

Run of the Week

Slaneyside Aine showed she has a big future over longer distances when scoring on her debut over the distance on Saturday night.

Whizzing Spirit made an impressive debut when coming second in the seventh race.
