Watch Centre Junior ‘B’ Hurling Championship 2013

The semi final of the Watch Centre Junior B Hurling championship will be part of a double bill housed in MacDonagh Park next Saturday October 12th.

Semi finals: Newport v Templederry, throw in 1.30pm

Ballina v Silvermines, throw in 3.00pm.

Extra time if required.

Junior League Final

The Junior C Hurling League final between Portroe v Borris-Ileigh will now be played this Saturday October 12th (note changed of date) in Templederry at 4.30pm

North Under -21 A Hurling

The Under -21 A Hurling has commenced but lay dormant for a period. Already Burgess defeated Borris-Ileigh and Kilruane MacDonaghs overcome Roscrea. The remaining games in the round involve Lorrha v Toomevara and Kildangan v Nenagh Eire Og.

North Under -21 B Hurling

A total of 13-104 points scored in three of the four first round games were played at the weekend. Well done to al concerned. The results were as follows:

Portroe 3-15 Templederry 1-14

Borrisokane 1-20 Silvermines 2-15

Moneygall/Clonakenny 2-24 Shannon Rovers Gaels 4-16 a.e.t.

Ballinahinch Gaels must face Ballina in the remaining game.

Junior A Football

Inane Rovers and Shannon Rovers advanced to the North final after the sides won their respective semi finals. Inane Rovers defeated Portroe by 1-13 to 0-4 and Shannon Rovers had a 1-14 to 2-5 win over Newport.

The North Final will be put on ice as both sides go in search of county glory this weekend. On this Friday evening, Inane Rovers face Newcastle in New Inn and the following day Shannon Rovers will do contest with Ballyporeen at Templemore.

Senior Hurling

The very best of luck to Nenagh Eire Og in next Sunday’s County Senior hurling final against Loughmore Castleiney and the very best wishes to Ballina who face Moyne templetuohy in the Intermediate decider which is the curtain raiser.

County Intermediate Football

Well done to Borrisokane who advanced against Clonmel Commercials in County Intermediate Football quarter final last Sunday. They now face Upperchurch Drombane in the semi final next Saturday October 12th in Dolla. Meanwhile Kildangan face Ballyporeen in their County Intermediate football quarter final next Wednesday evening. Venue to be clarified.

County Junior A Hurling Championship

Toomevara joined Knockshegowna in the Clean Ireland Recycling Junior A Hurling championship after their big quarter final win over Ballylooby Castlegrace at Semple Stadium last Sunday.

Code of Ethics

A meeting on Code of Ethics with players under-18 will be held in the Nenagh GAA Complex next Wednesday 16th October at 7.00pm.
