The winner of the inaugural Clean Ireland Recycling Tipperary Club Championships Player of the Month Michael Cahill has admitted that 2013 has been a tough year, with both Tipperary and Thurles Sarsfields knocked out of the championship well before the closing stages.

Speaking as he received the June award, introduced by Clean Ireland Recycling in support of their sponsorship of the Tipperary Football and Hurling Championships, the Tipperary and Sarsfields defender said it has been difficult to sit back and watch the championships without regret.
