The European Hot Rod final takes place on Saturday next, 27th October at Tipperary Raceway, Rosegreen, Cashel with gates open at 4 p.m. A top line up of National Hot Rod drivers from Ireland both North and South of the border.

The European Hot Rod final takes place on Saturday next, 27th October at Tipperary Raceway, Rosegreen, Cashel with gates open at 4 p.m. A top line up of National Hot Rod drivers from Ireland both North and South of the border.

Some of the top U.K. drivers are making the trip over and hoping to do the Irish proud on Saturday night are father and son Tom and David Casey, Waterford; Dublin/Italian Les Compelli; Cork’s Shane Murphy and of course hoping to keep the title in Tipp. is local man Des Cooney.

The battle for honours at Rosegreen is eagerly fought out each October as the cars can reach speeds in excess of 80 m.p.h. round the track at Tipp. raceway. A full supporting race programme will be run on Saturday evening with gates open from 4 p.m. with racing due to start about 6 p.m. Spectators are well catered for at Rosegreen with hot food, 2 covered stands, race commentary and easy access to the cars and crews in the pits.

This is the last racing event at Rosegreen for the current season and promises to be a great night so do come along early.
