Tipp’s netminder for two decades called time on a glittering career before Christmas and has had many tributes paid to him since, including receiving a prestigious Canon Hayes Award. However, the Civic Reception is a very special honour and he will be guest of Mayor Cllr Jimmy O’Brien at the event in Clonmel tonight.
