Manager speaks candidly after defeat to Loughmore Castleiney
Nenagh Manager Liam Heffernan had no regrets after one of the tightest county finals in years - a game which could so easily have ended in a draw.
He spoke to The Tipperary Star moments after leaving a devastated dressingroom and said:
“Any time you lose by a point is heartbreaking. They are are very cut inside in the dressingroom. I suppose when were five/six points up in the first half we should have drove on at that stage, but we took our foot off the gas a little. At the end of the day we were still four points up at half time and during the second half again.
