Tipperary County Board is delighted to welcome Clean Ireland Recycling (www.cleanireland.ie) as title sponsors of the Tipperary GAA senior, intermediate, junior, U-21 and minor football and hurling championships for 2013. The new sponsorship took effect from last weekend’s games and will see the multi-award winning company sponsor adult championships in both codes through to the end of this year’s championship, with an option to extend for successive years.
Announcing the sponsorship, Clean Ireland Recycling Tipperary Sales Manager Bill Ryan, from Thurles, said: “We are delighted to have agreed this partnership with Tipperary GAA. We operate what has been voted by the industry as Ireland’s leading kerbside collection and in recent months have expanded that service to all of Tipperary so we see this sponsorship as a really good fit for us and Tipperary GAA.
“The Tipperary club championships obviously reach into every corner of the county and have such fantastic history. They remain amongst the most competitive and most followed championships in the country and we are proud to be associated with them.”
Welcoming Clean Ireland Recycling on board as sponsors, Tipperary GAA Chairman Sean Nugent said: “This is a timely boost for our championships as they are just underway and to have a keen sponsor come on board at this stage again shows the reach and popularity of our club games. We are delighted also that Clean Ireland Recycling are our new partners as in Tipperary we are always focussed on excellence and that’s something that we share with our new sponsor. As an award winning company, they set out to provide the most efficient and comprehensive waste management service, which at the end of the day protects the environment. We’re very much about building for the future in Tipperary football and hurling and Clean Ireland Recycling very much have their eye on the future through their environmentally friendly operations so we are well matched.”
