Roscrea Tidy Towns Report

What You Can Do?

Look at your street, Estate, Residential area, etc. and if you see something you would’nt like in your own garden, or outside your own door, then do something about it. Paint a wall, gate or railing in need of paint, remove untidy flags, bunting, or advertising boards, clean dirty unsightly areas, upgrade shrub and flower beds, replace broken or missing trees, add more colour, and if you can see nothing, but would like to do something on your road, or in your estate, then come and talk to the Tidy Towns volunteers, Have you a name plate or welcome signage in your estate, has it a name so a stranger driving in knows where they are, are there signs to direct the visitor to the Community garden, or places of interest ? Get a few together, enjoy planning, improving and working together, it’s a great way to get to know your neighbours, taking pride, and by doing so, you are also adding to the value of your property, and making your place more attractive, and cared for looking. Contact Denis Ryan, 0876775382, Eileen Doherty, 0876765860, Mary Conroy, 0863476431, Rose Crofton, 0872102776 or any member for advice and direction. We have plenty of ideas to share with you and get you started.
