There were two walks last Sunday – 15 short walkers headed on a windy, but dry 6 mile walk through Glenafelly, led by Ray McCarthy, while a small but determined long walk group headed to the Galtee’s, led by J J Bergin.

They did a gully climb, including Galteemore and Galteebeag, with one female member – Rose Fogarty braving the extremely windy conditions – well done Rose. This Sunday, there’s only one walk – an intermediate walk through Portumna Park, led by Joe Coughlan. This will be Joe’s last walk for a while as he faces a knee operation next week – best wishes from all at the Ramblers! Members are reminded of the weekend away to Bantry on the April 26th.
