Roscrea Man Nominated For IFTA Award

Congratulations to Paul Rowland, son of Ann and Sean Rowland from Roscrea who was nominated for a prestigious IFTA award on Saturday evening last.
The awards which were televised live across the nation featured the who’s who of Irish show business. Paul works as a sound mixer and sound editor for Spiddal based T.V. production company Telegael since graduating from G.M.I.T. with a degree in Film & T.V. in 2006. Paul was nominated for the IFTA award in the category of Television Sound for his work as sound editor and mixer on Scéal na Gaeilge, an entertaining two-part documentary on the history of the Irish language which was broadcast on TG4 last year. The programme was made by Spiddal based production company ROSG and sound post production was completed by Paul in Telegael.
