Calling all golf enthusiasts. The June Bank Holiday week end sees the Borris-Ileigh GAA Golf Classic taking place in Thurles Golf Club. For those who like to play the occasional round or those that parade the fairways every week, we have on offer two wonderful days of golf with prizes that won’t be matched by any other golf classic.

Calling all golf enthusiasts. The June Bank Holiday week end sees the Borris-Ileigh GAA Golf Classic taking place in Thurles Golf Club. For those who like to play the occasional round or those that parade the fairways every week, we have on offer two wonderful days of golf with prizes that won’t be matched by any other golf classic.

The event takes place over two days- Friday 31st May and Saturday 1st of June and we expect the a full card. Thurles Golf Club is one of the finest courses locally with both challenging and enjoyable holes to test all levels of golfers.

The prizes on offer will entice anybody with an interest in golf. The first prize is a fourball, dinner and over night stay at the fabulous Mount Juliet resort. The remaining prizes include a fourball at The Old Head of Kinsale, a fourball at Carton House and a fourball at Fota Island. These are prizes that you will not get at any other golf classic and we hope that people from far and wide will be tempted by what’s on offer. We have also decided to keep costs to a minimum for those playing. A team of four cost just €120 which includes refreshments on the 10th hole. Also for anyone wishing to sponsor a tee box the cost is just €30. We such great prizes on offer for such a low entry fee you will not find better value going.
