Mountain Run: Dylan Doherty Grant and Shane Mullaney ran an IMRA race up Keeper Hill which is near Killoscully. Dylan ran well in his first outing of this type of race and came a valiant third place over the 5k distance. Shane came second in the men’s race which was 13.2 k in 53:05.

Rathgormack 5 mile: The conclusion of the Carrick Road Runners 3 Counties Series came to a head last Friday evening from the home territory of famous sportsman Sean Kelly. Declan Doherty and Austin Ryan ran all four races in the series. Over a testing course Declan continued his most successful running year yet with another win in the 0/40 section in a time of 28:46. Austin ran the 5 mile course some of which is ran on Waterford ground he ran well in a time of 31.40

Congratulations: We would like to send our best wishes to the Clonmel Athletic Club on their 40th Anniversary.

Trainees of the week: This weeks winners are Kieron Moloney, Kevin Bracken, Sean Butler & Fred Crowley.

Little Athletics: is going well every Friday from 7pm & is a fun introduction for kids to the sport.

Writer Wanted: Anyone that has an interest in writing up notes and would like to do so for the club contact Tony on 085 1013760.

Help needed: If anyone could lend a hand with grass cutting in crokes or help Bobby out with the Lotto it would be greatly appreciated. Many hands make light work.
