Training: Training now takes place five nights each week:
1.Primary School Ages: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays at 7pm.
2.Secondary School Ages: have training available all five nights: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7pm – 10pm,
Tuesdays: 7.15pm – 9pm, covering both Track & Field events.
Thursdays: 7.20pm – 9pm for ‘conditioning & strength training’.
Seniors and Masters train at the same time as Secondary School Students.
Fit4Life have training from 8pm – 9pm on Tuesday nights.
Cross Country Fixtures: The following are the Cross Country fixtures for October:
a.Sunday Oct 2nd at Middlepiece, Two-Mile-Borris (on old N8 Cork/Dublin Road). This sees the Co novice Mens & Womens taking place as well as the Juvenile even ages U/10 to U/18 at 12noon.
b.Co Intermediate & Odd ages U/9/19) on Oct 16th in Powerstown Racecourse Clonmel at 12noon.
c.Sunday Oct 23rd sees the Munster Even Ages Novice and U/23 in Co Clare.

Little Athletics: Little Athletics is a programme designed to address the specific physical requirements of children in the 5-10 year olds age bracket. It focuses on introducing the fundamentals of Athletic movement to children in a fun, exciting and non-competitive environment.
This is sponsored by McDonnalds Restaurants. The next evening of “Little Athletics” will take place on this Friday Sept 30th at 6.30pm. It will finish at 8.50pm.
