Roscrea Golf Club’s Captains’ Dinner

There was a full house on last Saturday night in honour of our Captains Michael and Nora. Vice-captain Paddy Bergin was MC for the night. President Liam Shanahan thanked both Captains for their work and commitment to the Club during their year in Office. It was not easy being in Office during these difficult economic times for Golf Clubs.

Well done to Michael and hope that you continue to improve and become an even better Golfer.

Lady Vice-Captain Eleanor presented Nora with a bouquet of flowers to thank her for her work as Lady Captain.

Paddy Bergin then thanked the caterers for presenting a lovely meal on the night, also to the bar staff for their excellent service and he hoped everyone would enjoy the rest of the night, which they did serenaded by music from the local group – ‘Heads or Tails’ – a lovely night indeed.
