The Cashel Cannonball

Gathering of Wheels is a 3-day festival in aid of LauraLynn Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice. The Festival will feature a Cannonball Queen competition on Friday 23rd of August at Halla na Feile, a Vintage “show and shine” display of cars on Saturday 24th of August and the arrival of 160 super cars into the town on Sunday 25th of August.

Sean Laffey and Seamus Foley from the Cashel Cannonball Gathering of Wheels told us the festival is coming together and gaining great support from the commercial community in the town. “We are very grateful for all the help and support from the business community and Cashel Town Council,” said Seamus.

“We are expecting crowds in their thousands to flock into town on the Sunday, this will be a wonderful opportunity for businesses in Main Street and Ladyswell to benefit from at least 3000 extra people in the town over the weekend.” said Sean who is President of the Cashel Chamber of Commerce.
