Social Diary, On Monday 24th October we had a most enjoyable night out in our clubhouse with an evening of ‘Style Talk’ as seen on Dragon’s Den with stylefish founder Julie Cobbe, who enlightened us with tips for styling and fashion. There was an excellent turnout to this event and everybody was greeted with a complimentary glass of wine, tea or coffee and cakes on arrival. We wish to thank the organising committee, led by Lady Captain Sinead Holland, for the work done selling tickets and decorating the clubhouse in the Halloween theme. We also thank all of our sponsors for the night, Stapleton’s Bakery, Gala Roscrea, Centenary DIY, Jackie Carroll, Kabelo Boutique (Birr) Niamh Moore (Monaincha Guest House & Spa), Martin’s Dry Cleaners, Graham Kenny (First Steps) and all the ladies who sponsored wine etc. A special thanks to Men’s Captain Johnny McDonnell and David Pyne who organised the seating in the clubhouse and served the refreshments on the night. Well done to all concerned for the combined effort which all led to a very pleasant and successful night for members and visitors alike
