Cahir Park v Tipperary.

In Dungarvan:

Faithlegg v Gold Coast, winners v Tramore;

Dungarvan v Dunmore East;

West Waterford v Lismore.

Pierse Purcell success for Ballykisteen:

Pierce Purcell area final at Clonmel:

Ballykisteen 3.5 Tramore 1.5.

Ballykisteen recorded a very impressive win in the Pierse Purcell area final played at Clonmel last week. They now advance to the Munster finals which will this year take place in Bandon on 14th July.

Ballykisteen took charge from the start and took the upper hand in most matches and while Tramore did rally in a couple of duels over the back nine, the overall result was never in any real doubt.

The west Tipperary boys will take great encouragement from their progress through the competition to date and it will take a very good side to deny them a Munster pennant next month.

We wish them every success in Bandon and hopefully further afield later in the summer.
