Last Sunday the County road relays were staged in Dundrum where we had a mens team. In the opening leg of 800m, Paul Molloy led off for us in what turned out to be a fiercely competitive event. Paul, then handed over to Matt Alexander for the 1500m leg in w hich he came through in sixth position to pass the baton onto Andrew Smyth for the 3000m part of the race. He then handed over to Ross Alexander for the final 5000m in seventh and he put in a great effort to cross the line in fifth place.

This Sunday is the County Novice road championships in Clonmel where we hope to have a large mens entry for the 6k event. Things get underway at 12.00.

The following Sunday, March 6th, an open 5k fun run will be staged in Moyne.
