Dundrum A.C.

On Sunday the 20th of February the county road relays was hosted in Dundrum. The club was well represented with three teams taking part over the four legs over 800m, 1500m, 3000m and 5000m. The team of Michael Ryan, John Shanahan, Kevin Moore and Donal Keane finished in second position to pick up the silver medals. The team of Chris Ryan, Michael Brown, Sean Mcgrath and Martin Keane won the gold medals in the B category. The team of Brendan Kinnane, Colm Bradshaw, Michael Coen and Ruaidhri Devitt finished second in the B Category. The club was also represented in the Limerick Duathlon on the 20th of February.

The race consisted of a 4.6k run, 20k bike, 4.6k run. Brian Devitt led the club home in 11th place with a time of 1:18:32. Graham Butler, Liam Butler and Tommy Byrne’s came 13th, 15th and 17th with times of 1:18:57, 1:19:30 and 1:19:57 respectively. The county novice road championship will be hosted in Clonmel on Sunday the 27th of February.
