County Senior 10k: Last Sun in ideal conditions in Two-Mile-Borris the Thurles Crokes men made a historic four in a row team title be it by the closest of margins of a single point. Our first man home was the Isle of Man based Christy Bracken running his first race in over a year showed he still had it finishing a great second. Dennis Shanahan was next in with a powerfull run in 8th, Two-Mile-Borris man Shane Mullaney was next past the post with a good run in 9th all eyes were on club captain Declan Doherty who held his own finishing well in 15th to secure the team title. The day saw good running from Austin Ryan, Pat Bracken, new kid on the block Don Bergin, Ray Riordan and Con Corbett. Thanks to Patsy & Kathleen Dorney, Sean, Marian & Jacqueline Hughes, Justyna, Dave Kennealy, Christy Tuohy who cycled out from town and the Bracken and Mullaney families who gave everyone encouragement during the race which was gladly appreciated. Thanks also to the host club Moycarkey Coolcroo on a well organised race, everyone was well fed and catered to after the race and commiserations to the Nenagh Olympic team who have been a revelation this past year and Dundrum AC who ran as valiantly as ever.

Plane Jump: Well done to Vincent Molumby who performed a parachute jump and skydive and raised a considerable amount of money for charity.
