It’s that time of year again - time to hop on your bike and join Thurles man Billy Shanahan and the rest of the gang for the Trip to Tipp Weekend of Cycling in aid of NCBI – Working for People with Sight Loss!
Over the last 20 years, The Trip to Tipp has been one of the most popular leisure events in Cycling Ireland calendar, attracting hundreds of cyclists to the town of Thurles from all over the country every year. As always there will be a number of cycle options over the two days to suit all levels meaning this is a great day out for the family, a group of friends or work colleagues. Or why not make a weekend out of it and enjoy the famous nightlife and hospitalities that Thurles has to offer? There will be plenty of live music and craic in Hayes Hotel on Saturday night and special two day cycle entry rates and accommodation rates are available.

Saturday 15th - 12pm: 70km and 100km Three Counties Tour. 12.30pm: 14km Family Fun Cycle.
Sunday 16 August 2015 - 9.45am: 140km Grand Tipperary Challenge. 10.15am: 80km Scenic Tour of Tipperary. 10.15am: 100km Glen of Aherlow Challenge. All cycles depart from Sarsfields GAA Club, Thurles.
