The Tipperary Association Dublin Golf Society has announced details of its four Golf Outings for the coming year as part of The Gathering. Each outing is sponsored by Dublin publicans of Tipperary extraction who have generously and without hesitation agreed to sponsor individual outings.

Following each outing, each sponsor will also invite a guest speaker for the “afters”. The speaker will be synonymous with Tipperary hurling and will have been well tutored in the “Bunny Carr School of Fine Delivery”

For just €55 per outing, you will enjoy a superb rounds of golf, a meal to satiate the palates as well as a guest speaker later in the evening.

The first outing takes place on Friday, 26th April in The Grange GC, Rathfarnham, Dublin, sponsored by Ollie Quinlan of the Black Lion pub in Clondalkin.

The remaining outings are as follows:

Friday, 7th June in The Hermitage GC, Lucan, sponsored by Liam Aherne (The Palace Bar, Fleet Street) and is also Presidents Day with 2013 President Denis Finn

Thursday, 8th August in Newlands GC, Clondalkin, sponsored by Kieran O’Meara (Rody Bolands, Rathmines), is also Captains Day with 2013 Captain Jerry Quinlan, Nenagh.

Friday, 11th October in Woodbrook GC, Co Wicklow, sponsored by Denis Carey (The Yellow House, Rathfarnham)

Tipperary people near and far are encouraged to get together to take part in one or all of the outings which are sure to be great social events and will also generate vital funds for the Tipperary Association Dublin and their great work they do in organising events in the capital, such as the post All Ireland Final functions for Tipperary teams in hurling and football as well as providing college bursaries for Tipperary students with strong GAA, Camogie and Ladies Football backgrounds.
