Renowned speakers for Holycross on 'How to be Happy and Content'

Holycross Ballycahill Health and Wellness Group welcomes renowned guest speakers John Lonergan and Caroline Crotty to St Michael's Community Centre in the village tomorrow evening (Thursday) at 8:00pm for what is anticipated to be a very interesting evening indeed.

The former Governor of Mountjoy Prison will be joined by the Psychotherapist and will focus on how, as people, we can develop the ability to increase happiness and contentment.

Both speakers have a huge interest in promoting general health and wellbeing and their goal is to spread the message to try and help others in what ever way they can.

Caroline and John will discuss tips that produce increased and enhanced rates of joy and satisfaction.

Many of the elements which undermine joy and happiness come from negative tendencies of the mind and our inability to appreciate and use the resources that exist within us.

It is, therefore, with great anticipation that John and Caroline will be welcomed to Hoolycross to speak in plain language about how we can increase in ourselves positive wellbeing for our own benefit and for the benefit of others also.

There will also be an opppportunity to ask questions and give feedback regarding the evenings topics.

All adults and teenagers are welcome to come to Holycross Community Centre at 8:00pm for this very worthwhile event. Admission is free of charge and there will be light refreshments served afterwards in the community centre.

This really is a fantastic opportunity to take time out from the hustle and bustle of the run-up to Christmas, and to listen to what John and Caroline have to say. Their views are sought all over the country and to have them visitng Holycross is a major coup for the local Health and Wellness Group which is in existence in the parish for just over a year now.

So, mark the date and time in your diary and be sure to make a little time for a visit to the Community Centre - it could be the best thing you will do for yourself before 2016 runs out.
