Take a selfie at Bank of Ireland and help Make a Wish

All Munster based Bank of Ireland branches, including Thurles are attempting to break the current world record held in “Most People in Multiple Venues to take a Selfie” on Thursday morning 15th December at 9.45 with all proceeds going to the Make a Waish Foundation.

The selfie drive will take place simultaneously across all Munster Bank of Ireland branches and is a novel way to raise much needed cash for the charity.

Bank of Ireland Manager branch Manager in Thurles, Patricia Ryan said, “We need to get as many people as possible to call into Bank of Ireland Thurles Car Park on Thursday morning 15th December at 9.45 am. Each participant will need to take a selfie on their phone and forward it to a designated email address at the Guinness World Record Office in London.

“ We will give full instructions on the morning and will have two independent Stewards to monitor the event.

“We have invited all Thurles town Secondary Schools to attend. We will have light refreshments in the branch on the day for all the participants,” she said.

Also in attendance on the day will be Tipperary hurling All-Star Seamus Callanan (Drom-Inch), Tipp senior hurling Manager Michael Ryan and other members of the Tipperary senior hurling team will bring the Liam McCarthy Cup to front the event. So, if you would like to take a selfie with Liam then make sure to come along and join in the fun.

All participants will be entered into a Draw for a Christmas Hamper.
