Tipperary branch of Parkinson's continues its Winter Programme with an information meeting in Community Hospital of the Assumption Thurles, this Wednesday (Nov. 9th) at 2 pm.

Guest Speaker is Brid Harty, 'Medication & Relaxation', come along and enjoy & relax. The National AGM of Parkinson's Association of Ireland takes place in The Carmichael Centre, Dublin at 2 pm on this Friday 11th November.

Friday 18th November all roads lead to The Templemore Arms Hotel, Templemore for an action packed Variety Concert commencing at 8 pm sharp. Doors open 7 pm Admission €10 Family concessions. Organised by friends and members of Tipperary Branch of Parkinson's from Roscrea, Templemore & Laois. Programme includes song, Music, Dance, Comedy with joint MC's John Kelly award winning speaker/entertainer and Kevin Lalor Fitzpatrick presenter of the Saturday Night Show on Midlands 103 who will ensure a non stop night of entertainment. Artists include Emer Reynolds from Roscommon fresh from her launch of her new album. "The Grant Sisters" Tanya & Emma with several recordings are nieces of the famous Shawn Cuddy. Cathy Boland from Tullamore direct from her CD Launch and Nora Butler Traditional Irish Singer from Nenagh who has toured the world with Ceoltas Ceoltori Eireann with many recordings. Paudie Bourke from Borrisoleigh singer songwriter from Borrisoleigh and famous for his song "Grandpa's little House" Emma Phelan Comedian and a group of actors from Laois will perform two 5 minuet Comedy Sketches "Wedded Bliss" and "Mistaken Identity". Piper Joe Barry & Friends will raise the roof with a selection of tunes. Marion Slattery, Ballymackey Nenagh will be joined by fellow traditional musicians. Upperchurch singing duo John Carey & Tom Stapleton along with traditional musicians Shauna Brown & Friends from Roscrea. From Abbeyleix guitarist and singer Aaran Phelan and his sister Orna Phelan with her school of Irish Dancing. TV Voice Contender Carrie Haskins from Athy singer songwriter will entertain us with a selection of songs. A very special date for the diary is Friday night 2nd December at 7pm in the pastoral Centre, Church Rd, Nenagh our Annual mass & Ecumenical Candle Lighting Ceremony for Parkinson's patients who were called to their eternal reward.
