Exciting News for High Street Shoppers

Thurles Traders Unite held their first meeting of 2012 last Thursday in Hayes Hotel. A full agenda was followed meticulously and the meeting was conducted within one hour.

Thurles Traders Unite held their first meeting of 2012 last Thursday in Hayes Hotel. A full agenda was followed meticulously and the meeting was conducted within one hour.

One of the most important items that traders present at the meeting agreed was to set up a customer loyalty card. This exciting card will be given to customers by participating shops on the high streets of Thurles. The card will enable customer to benefit from discounts, special offers and numerous other perks.

We plan to have this customer loyalty card up and running in the next few weeks. A launch date will be announced in all local media.

Our status as The European Town of Sport was also discussed and it was agreed that members from our task force would contact the steering committee and offer our services and support, dialogue has been requested at time of going to press.

A very ambitious plan is also underway to hold a one day open air seisiun, of traditional music, dancing storytelling monologue and craic. We will bring the rambling house to Liberty Square for a day during the summer a date will be conformed soon.
