Top International Scholars for 51st Conference at Roscrea

Down the years the Roscrea Conference has been renowned for the quality of the scholarship provided in a most entertaining manner.

The 51st Conference and its theme of The Annals of Ireland, to be held on the first weekend in November at the Cistercian Abbey of Mount St Joseph will be no different…in fact the international parameters of the event have been pushed out further.

Not only are the cream of Irish scholars coming to Roscrea but so too is a leading young scholar from Harvard University in the USA. Dr Francis Ludlow is an expert on climate and the Irish weather as recorded down the centuries in the Irish Annals and he will give three talks during the weekend.
