Tipperary Mental Health Service “Abandoned”

The Tipperary Mental Health Service has been abandoned by Government, Mr. Michael Lowry, T.D. has stated. The Independent Deputy has today called on the Government to stand by their pre-election promises, and their Programme for Government, and take immediate steps to tackle the hugely depleted and dangerously eroded mental health services in Tipperary.

The Independent T.D. for Tipperary stated that the entire mental health service has been undermined, battered and badly funded to the point where it is nearing collapse, leaving a huge number of Tipperary individuals and families in a dire state.
