Ryans Cleaning of Borrisoleigh has been shortlisted in the O2 sponsored services category of the Small Firms Association National Small Business Awards 2013. The winners will be announced by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny TD in March 2013.

“It is a tribute to the team at Ryans Cleaning that it is one out of the six companies nationally that has been shortlisted in the services category,” commented Lisa Corcoran, Head of Enterprise at O2. “Services is a vital sector in terms of job creation in Ireland. We are particularly pleased to sponsor this category as we have launched many services designed to help entrepreneurs run their businesses more productively from fixed line and broadband bundles to cloud services.”

An Taoiseach Enda Kenny, TD, who is Patron of the Awards, added, “Small businesses and entrepreneurs play a crucial and often underestimated role in our economy. The SFA National Small Business Awards enable us to reward and showcase Ireland’s entrepreneurial talent. I am confident that the talent and energy of Irish entrepreneurs highlighted through these awards will provide the basis for Ireland’s re-emergence as a strong and successful economy.”

Ryans Cleaning was established in 1997 to provide professional cleaning services in the event, venue and corporate cleaning business. Year on year the company has grown and in 2006 it was the largest in Ireland. In 2005 Ryans Cleaning UK was established.
